"Nothing soothes the soul like a day at the beach"

Loved the colours this week at CSI.
For those of you who know me and visit my blog,
you probably guessed that my layout would  be about the beach....
I love spending time there.
{nothing soothes the soul like a day at the beach}
Case File No. 81
A quote I found and thought it very fitting for me.
I have written it on the back of my layout.
" Doesn't it seem to you
that the mind moves more freely
in the presence of that boundless expanse,
that the sight of the ocean
elevates the soul and gives rise to
thoughts of the infinite and the ideal."
 Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary

The Scheme.. 5 colours
Evidence: twiggy branch, jute/twine, woodgrain, circles
Testimony: I have listed 6 awesome things about being at the beach
1.Weekends - Sundays
2. Being together - Family time.
3. Rest, Relax and Reflect.
4.Fishing.
5. The warm sun drenched sand.
6. The unending rhythm of the wild ocean waves.

I have loved reading all of your lovely comments.
Thanks for letting me know you have stopped by.

Bloom CSI #80

Solving case # 80 at CSI
 {Bloom}
I wasn't going to solve the case this week, the colours are really different for me....
but that is what a challenge is all about.....so happy I did.
This is my page....I have used the 5 colours from the Scheme.
The Evidence- flowers, transparency (Tim Holtz film strip), buttons and my 5 blooms form a triangle.
Testimony- I was inspired by the  Easy Street Promps # 1132 ; "The Girl Who Found Herself"
and I have hand written a personal message to Sarah and  tucked it in the an envelope under the photo.
The Sketch - I followed as it is.
The  quote reads "There comes a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud
was more painful than the risk it took to bloom."
It is so good to see the Happy, Strong and Confident young woman she is Today.
We are extremely proud of the choices she has made.
